Hey,
I noticed that when you start up your car you know they told us to change the oil at 10,000 miles the first change but if you pay attention the car is smart enough to change the number based on what kind of driving you do.

Hey Guys Be Nice.

jabrams800. It does say this in the manual, it's quite a well known feature. But thanks for sharing your joy with owning a cool car with us.

Most of us here think the MINI has lot's of cool features. Heh wait until it chimes at you when it gets to 37Degrees. As it happens you cant RTFM on that one 'cos it's not in there!

Shame on the rest of you for picking on the Newbie.

Black ice is actually clear thin ice on the road. It's called black ice because the road it is on is typically black.

First time it chimed at me I thought I was going insane... I think it also chimed at me when I rolled the window down (because it was cold perhaps?) to pay a toll haven't really been able to reproduce it to figure out why exactly it's chiming at me.
