Speedo Question

Curiosity is killing the cat here. I was curious if there is a way to display how fast you are going, digitally on the tach, or is it possible to put a small little readout to tell you your speed so you don't have to look over?

Since you have the '06 with the Premium Package. You should be able to toggle through the various options, one of which is digital speed. Look on your turn signal stalk for the button on top.

Above statements are true as long as you don't have Nav or Chrono. If you have the speedo in on the column (apparently not in your case), there's no digital option.

sure would like a decent clock display...

the size of the numbers in the display are "mini"...

a nice analog clock on the dash would be great...

Then you need to 'downgrade' to an '04. We have a nice big one up in the headliner. We don't get the nice lower gearing though...

Helped a fellow NAMer change his clock - it was a RPA! (Raging Pain in the ...)

Personally, as A/R as I am, I'd like to have digital speed readout as well - analog is great for visual rate of change, but digital is nice for steady state. I do have the OBC 'avg speed' with the nav, but it's not nearly as fun reseting it constantly.

It would be kinda cool if there was a display or a heads up option on the windshield like some of the bmws. I'm not sure this is even possible, but a small display on the windshield that had rpms, speed and what gear your in would be pretty trick. I'm guessing even in a manual the computer knows your in 1st or 5th gear. Would be pretty neat.
