Thank you for posting this. I bought a Craftsman 1/2" 36mm socket but it is a really tight fit. I planned to go looking for a better alternative tomorrow. This looks like the perfect solution.

Just so you guys will know for anyone who needs to buy one of these. If you have a pepboys in your area they do carry them for I believe around 10 bucks. I just picked one up this past week and will be doing my oil change sometime this week when the rain stops.

Just got my Craftsman 36mm socket in the mail Friday. Took it straight to the garage and checked it out, fit great and $5.95. Will be doing an oil change this morning!!!!!!!

 

I just bought one at Sears yesterday, $7. Works fine in my '05!
