I have a 2005 MCS. I dont no y but i hear this rattling noise underneath the shifter when i switched to the 6th gear to 140km/h. Be4 i thought it was the coins i put in the cupholder .Sounds like some other metallic parts scratching my shifter as I accelerate above 140km. It gets louder and louder as i increase the speed.
I brought it back to the service center. The service rep said its because the cable is too close to the shitfter. After the cable is secured, i tested it out on the freeway BUT,it is still making that noise.

Does anyone else having the same problem? anyone knows what cuzed this problem??

Try looking under the car yourself. Possibly just a heatshield.
