Ecu removal

To remove the ecu (after the covers are removed), do you just pull up? I can't seem to ge the part unplugged. Would gently using pliars help?

Thanks.

There are two plugs with tabs that are pulled fore and aft. See the How-to on webbmotorsports.com on CAI install for details. That's how I figured it out. Don't try to yank the connectors, they won't budge. The tabs unlock and release and, in everse, seat the connectors and lock them in.

you have to pull the large tabs on the plugs horizontally and it will
unplug and raise upward by itself as you pull.

I don't know about the MC, but on the MCS, you pull the front plug's
tab forward toward the bumper, the rear plug's tab towards the
front windsheild.

Is that wat you're asking for?

No Pliers!!!!!

Where the wires come out of the two connectors on the top, there is a plunger on each connector. It's a lighter grey.... Pull this back. A LONG way. It will release the connector. Go to my gallery, and look at the PLX stuff, and there is a photo that shows the plunger pulled back with the cover off the connector.

Good luck. It's a snap once you've done it once....
