Mystery Dripping Fluid

Can anyone tell me what the black oval hose/tube is - it seems to be dripping fluid when I stop when I drive in hot weather in Los Angeles right now. (There is a close up image, and then a farther away shot showing the undercarrage where the oval hose/tube is)

2005 MCS October '04 build

Thanks in advance

It's your air conditioner drain tube. The fluid is water that is collected on the coils inside the car. Perfectly normal.

For those of you who do not want to waste precious resources, just put a Perrier bottle under the hose-enjoy.

I have a long straw attatched to the tube, so when I'm thirsty I always have water/dirt/oil/other pollution ready to drink!

Here in NC, that tube runs like a faucet... It's good to see a puddle everytime I stop... The AC system works great...
