I know I'm not the first with this promblem

But a search of the data base failed to produce the information I require.

Where can I purchase the interior micro air filter besides Mini.

Look in "climate control" under replacement parts.

Simple green works great. Rinse from clean side, like an air filter, soak in a bucket & flush with hard stream of water till soapy bubbles are gone. Now its soaking wet. Mine is now drying on a roll of chicken wire with a fan & heat lamp. Tomorrow morning I can rub it down with fresh mint or dribble coffee on it & put it back on. So why buy one?

If I'm not mistaken its a carbon filter.

You need to replace them because the carbon only last so long.

Not sure washing them would re activate the carbon.

the microfilter that comes with your MINI is indeed an activated carbon filter, and is not reusable.

If you want to re-use them with your own scents or whatnot, the version without the activated carbon.

Knowing the what the activated carbon does though, I wouldn't recommed doing it.
