Map/BARO Sensor Errors

Hey smart people.... I bought this obd-ii reader at Kragens for $69.99 ($50 cheaper than the peake one and just as useful) to read and erase the engine codes I get.... Here are the 2 codes I read and what they mean...

P0107- MAP/BARO Sensor Low Input
P0108- MAP/BARO Sensor High Input

So, my question is.... what the hell does this mean? Everything seems fine... maybe a Unichip issue?

On one of the threads last year I remember reading that the P0107 code is normal if you have made some mods and that you should not worry about it. A search for this thread may contain some useful info.

Your Unichip corrupts the signal from the MAP sensor so it may be the cause of those faults. I'd try removing the Unichip, clear the codes, and see if they return.

How do you know if the problem is definitely your Unichip? You may be doing damage to your engine by ignoring faults.

I didnt say I knew definitely...so, I did unplug it and sure enough it still happens... It throws the code(s) ONLY when at WOT and high RPM. Is this something I should be concerned with or should I try to replace the MAP sensor and see if it goes away?
