HELP Mini Stalls on Sharp Turns....

PLease help....I have an 02 MCS The best car I've ever been in. However twice now when I take a sharp corner the car shuts off and the electrical system gets a little wierd.....like everything resets, Trip, Fuel Milage, etc. Anyone else have this issue or know anything about it. The only thing that I've added is a CD player and Amp but I do that for a living and I know the amp isn't drawing alot of power from the electrical....What do I do?

Fuel Pump? I use to own a Ford Focus and pple were complaining that whenvever they would make right turns going onto on-ramps or taking right turns their cars would shut-off. (only happening when fuel levels were <1/2 tank) I'm just speculating that it could be a fuel pump issue.

Lots of MINIs in Massachusetts - say "Hi" in the MINI2 New England forum; Are you going to MINI Peabody for service?

You mentioned the trip / fuel mileage / etc going "wierd" too - resetting? I wonder if you have a loose battery terminal, or a loose chassis strap between engine & chassis ...

I'd say it's one of the following:

1. Goofy fuel tank is starving your fuel pump
2. There is a short somewhere that is only contacting metal on right turns
3. Loose battery cable.

Sounds like a loose ground or possibly loose main wire harness.
