Back again with a question...

So, when installing the 6-speed into our R50, one of the ears on the bowden cable holder broke off. We bought the replacement part, but was unable to get the bolts to break loose. I currently have the cable zip-tied in place and am looking for creative solutions to solving the problem? TIA!

Get a can of KROIL at your local ACE hardware store. Best penetrating oil there is. Apply and give it overnight.to work.
