Very loud when driving

I have a 2003 MINI Cooper JCW 6 speed, been having an issue and not sure the cause, I think the the throw out bearing is bad because it ticks when idling and pressing the clutch makes it stop, parts to do the clutch and everything are on the way as the clutch is eol anyway. I've also noticed when driving, around 30 mph the car starts humming and it kinda gets louder and quieter depending on speed, all gears and neutral, it's related to wheel speed not engine speed. Sound is coming from front drivers side. Doesn't really sound like a wheel bearing and wheel is not wobbly. I'm worried it's like output shaft bearing and would like advice because I'm gonna be getting into the transmission over the weekend to do the clutch and would hate to do all that and have to do it again.

The clicking noise is likely the dual mass flywheel, which is completely normal - get used to it.

The humming could be any number of things. Tires (even if the treads look good), wheel bearing (even if wheel isn't wobbly), CV joint, etc. It's probably not internal to the transmission. Those types of failures are exceedingly rare.

Thank you, I changed the wheel bearing and that was the issue.
