Speed in gears.... Clutch issues Driveline?

Today while happily motoring.
I noticed that i seem to be having a memory loss or something of that nature.
Before I thought that i was turning about 3k to make 70 Mph
Now im turning around 3500.
It seems im running about 500 to 700 rpm thru any given gear to maintain the same speed i use to be.
I dont know about this.
So can anyone with the new transmission let me know they get for the speed in gears to make sure i dont have a problem or If i do lets see if i can isolate it.
If anyone needs back history on the car let me know....
Anything i can do the figure out what its deal is. Is fine by me.

Colin

Everyones always drinking.
I was thinking it was a sliping clutch.
But it dosent smell.
Thumper MCS told me to check it by putting it in fourth and making it pull up to see if i noticed slipping.

Its fine when its cold and i need a new set of tires.
I have a great line on a set of wheels with tires from a good friend so i may have to do that first. and hope i can do the clutch later!
Money is gonna be tight for a while.

Do the clutch first. You won't be able to use your new wheels/tires when your car is undriveable. Call South Bend Clutches a call and see what they can do for you. They worked magic with my S4 (320 whp 380 wtq) for a very good price.

If you are running with clutch slip under steady-state cruising, then your clutch death is imminent.

South Bend: 800-988-4345 - google is your friend.
