Window Dip

Alright I've been struggling with this all day. I just replaced the outer handle on my driver door. This involves removing the door panel and the glass.

Once I got it all back together my window lost the auto functions. I reset it using the "roll it up and hold the button for 10 secs" I got my auto functions back, but...

THE PROBLEM: When I open the door my window rolls down about 1/16" of an inch instead of the 1/2" that it used to. The auto dip function is working, but not nearly as much as it used to. Is there a way to make it work properly again?

Keep bumping the window switch up to close the window with the door closed....I've done this when I did the same thing
as you....open the door afterwards then close hopefully yours work like mine.....

Tried bumping the switch a bunch of times, that didn't do it. Is there some kind of adjustment that I screwed up when I removed everything?

Have you tried adjusting the window regulator?

All I've done is held the up switch for 5-10 seconds after the window is up.
The weird part is that it's trying to dip, it just doesn't move as much as it used to.

Sounds like you might have reinstalled the glass a bit differently (maybe not fully seated).

Works Now

Today it just randomly started working. I've been using the car quite a bit, and I wonder if it just needed a bunch open-close cycles?

Once you disassemble it has to relearn the functions

Reset here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...indow-dip.html

Then if that does not work, the window glass needs adjusted with the wrench.
