2003 r53 abs light

Hello, I have a 2003 r53 that has a abs light on. Scanned it and found the right front corner erratic. Even if the car is parked it will jump around showing 7-3-5-2-1 kmh etc. The axle recently broke so I thought might as well fix this as well. Replaced the right front sensor. No fix, replaced the hub, no fix. Swapped the right and left sensors. Problem stayed on the right side. If I leave the right front unplugged it stays at 0. This is leading me to believe the hub I got is no good? If unplugging the sensor altogether fixes it that should rule out a problem with the cars wiring? Anyone run into this?

Jeez, you too?

I have this issue as well, except with both front sensors. Codes are 5D91 (f/l), 5DA1 (f/r), and 5DA3 (f/r). Yeah... 2 codes for the same location.

Are you by chance having any braking issues? I have a brake pedal that likes fight me at random times and becomes a 50 lb. push. Once the pedal acts up my dashboard becomes a Christmas tree.

No idea if they're related but I was doing my research and saw you had the ABS light, figured I'd subscribe to this and remind you - "You're not alone"

Have not run into this situation specifically but did have a temporary trouble light issue a while back which turned out to be the connector. Recommend start there. These things are pretty frail, with very tiny wires which can get bent, plus the insulated wire leads themselves can get kinked and break.

In this case dirt / oil got in there and apparently triggered the light. After spraying both sides with brake cleaner and letting dry (probably should have used electronics cleaner), carefully put them back together and the issue cleared up.

Could also be something is pinched / grounded further upstream. Doubt it's the new wheel hub right out of the box but could swap in another one to be 110% sure. Hopefully others will weigh in. Gotta love the gremlins in these cars...
