I have a 05 r50 and my ABS light keeps coming on randomly, not after hard brakes are anything. I can just be crushing alone and it will pop on, sometimes the traction light will come on aswell. I turn the car off and restart its still on but after a hour or so of sitting it wont be on anymore. I'm going to my mechanic Friday but I'm just worried about it. Is this a common issue?

 

I think there are some posts on this regarding a bad speed sensor. I'd do a search for that and see what you come up with.

 

Is your SES light on as well? My sister's 05 R53 has the ABS, traction, and tire pressure lights on and it went to the mechanic today and they said left abs speed sensor is out.
