Stock Problems/IssuesDiscussions related to warranty related issues and repairs, or other problems with the OEM parts and software for MINI Cooper (R50), Cabrio (R52), and Cooper S (R53) MINIs.
So, I replaced the cylinder head on my mini r52 (Not supercharged). The Bentley manual had me remove the throttle body, which I did. Unfortunately for me, this is the one time I did not take a picture before/after removing the part, and now I'm putting it back together. There's tons of videos (like Mod mini, etc), but everyone always has the supercharger, and the setup is different.
I believe the throttle body is oriented like this - is this correct?
And this vent hose (?) - I see one picture, and it appears to be routed under the intake? But I can't seem to figure that out. It seems more likely that it is routed under the fuel rail?
Is that correct? (fuel rail is not reinstalled yet in the picture)
If anyone could take a quick picture or explain how that is routed on a non-sc Gen 1 mini, I would really appreciate it.
