Limp mode initiated with Boost ?

2013 Mini Cooper S n18 engine 90K miles. As soon as boost builds the engine kills to an Idle and will not rev past 2K. I have to restart motor and will run good until I hit boost again. My scanner reads no codes given. The dash shows check engine light for a few seconds, then clears. Things I have replaced to solve issue: Replace fuel pump and fuel pressure sensor. I have checked the fuel lines in engine bay, they seem good.
Anyone have suggestions ?

For sure there has to be codes stored for these events. Your scanner just isn’t pulling them. What scanner are you using?

It could be a bad diverter valve. The original version was prone to tears which would cause boost leak. There's a revised version that's supposed to be more durable.

Can't say that's definitely your problem but given the age of your car it wouldn't be a dumb idea to replace it with the uprated version if it hasn't already been done.

I use OBDLink app on my phone with a OBD dongle. It is supposed to be good for BMW codes. Maybe not so much.

As soon as I bought the car I changed the diverter valve to a turbosmart 50/50. It may be failing/defective. I ordered a new stock one. I will see if that solves the issue.

It could be due to the TurboSmart valve. Here are a couple threads with others having issues with them:
