Positive Boost to limp mode

Hey Guys and Gals, Turbo hasn't produced boost since I changed my clutch. On my OBD reader I notice that only under hard acceleration does it create any positive boost and I'm only talking about .9 positive boost. If it hits 1.0 the limp mode light goes on. I'm sure it is probably something easy but can't seem to nail it down? Any suggestions would be great. P.S I think my timing chain is on its on its way out.

If you are going into limp mode, there has to be a DTC stored in the computer. Need to find out what is going on with the car before anyone can tell you what needs fixing.

Could be my scanner but I have used 3 different scanners including autozone which I know won’t read mini specific. Currently I have the obdlinkmx+. No DTC s just half yellow limp mode on rpm. The engine light does not come on, actually engine seems super smooth just no boost. It is eating some oil and getting some soot out of the exhaust though.

So I pulled the diverter valve and unfortunately, it looked in real good shape. No visible tears anywhere. Unless they can go bad with no tears?

Found the culprit, vacuum line was shot, had to take off the exhaust manifold to find it but the vacuum line running from the turbo, not wastegate actuator, and it was disconnected at the vacuum pump.

I do believe you, but just to make sure:
On the R56, the vacuum line runs from the vacuum pump under the intake manifold to the vacuum reservoir. Then to an electronically actuated valve (usually stuck on the underside of the intake manifold), and from there to the wastegate actuator.

There shouldn't be a vacuum line at the exhaust manifold.

It was u

nder the exhaust manifold at the vacuum pump. So it worked great, I replaced the line drove it pretty hard for short distances.. took it for a 7 mile trip and got the check engine light and these 3 codes

so, on the hunt again. But turbo is still working and car is running fine but idles erratically now.
