2013 Cooper S Hardtop knock sensor faults - help pls

I'm back again Trying to smile, but not really.

The half full looking engine light came on and I put the OBDII thingy on. Codes P13AE and C13B8 were showing.
Knock sensor, electrical: Signal input 'A', short circuit to ground
Knock sensor, electrical: Signal input 'B', short circuit to ground

Haven't really been able to find much info on how to replace the knock sensor(s?) for the 2013 Cooper S hardtop. As in the past, all help would greatly be appreciated.
Can this be driven in town like this? Just like to the store or something. 40mph max?

Im surprised no one answered your post. To my knowledge that code causes the engine to go into a limp mode. Dont you notice the engine running poorly when the light comes on?

It seems a little sluggish, but it still gets up to 60 and rides "fine" as far as I can tell. I have an appointment on Jan 3rd at the service shop. It's 95 miles from me, but that's what I'm going to have to do at this point. Hopefully I make it there lol.
