Throttle valve, adaptation:marginal conditions not met/help please
I’ve been troubleshooting why pops and bangs won’t work on my 2013 r56. The car sat for a month needing a fuel pump and then it stopped making pops and bangs.
I reset the adaptations just now and threw a code for throttle valve.
The id number is 28cc on the schwaben scanner.
I just remembered I clear a throttle valve/ or peddle related code a few months ago and also reset the peddle. Since the. I haven’t had a related code until I reset all of the adaptations and learned variants.
from research this should be a p1632 code.
what could be the issue.
my car has 191k
According to this site: https://bmwfault.codes code 28CC can be cause from a low vehicle voltage condition. If the car sat for a month, maybe the battery got too low during that time? Interesting also, is that code can be related to intake VANOS actuator.
If the car runs fine other than no pops and burble, maybe the car just needs to be run hard for a while to work out the cobwebs?

I have been driving the car like this for a couple of months. I recently cleaned my Vanos solenoids and they were working fine. I also drive this car hard regularly. The battery only ran low because I had been cranking the starter a lot while diagnosing the fuel pump issue. The only other things I did with the car while the fuel pump was bad as I pulled the fuse box to make sure the relay soldered to the board wasn’t bad before I bought a fuel pump.
