So my car went in and out of limp mode without codes but finally got some codes thrown.. I have these 3 (2EF2, 289D and 28AA), lag at times at lower speeds and no boost. I do know the code descriptions but I am not too sure where to begin. Was wondering if anyone has had all 3 before? I have read it can be several things including the diverter valve. I prefer not to just throw money at it but some of the items are cheap enough to buy. I wouldn't mind upgrading the diverter valve and getting away from the stock one as well but this could be a wild goose chase. Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks in advance.

you can always remove the valve and do some inspection. Also, check the waste gate shaft, the nut tends to back out causing the shaft not to close the gate properly. finally, check the vacuum lines specially under the intake manifold.
