I changed the brittle female connector from harness to coolant temp sensor on 2007 N12 manual. I forgot to mark which wire goes on which side on the connector. They are white and yellow. Are the wires interchangable? Does anyone have a picture to illustrate where the wires go in relation to the sensor connector? I looked online but could not find anything. Please see pic of how i reinstalled the wires, i hope its right! Thank you

The DME measures the ohms of the sensor to determine temperature. So it shouldn't make a difference if the wires are reversed.
For what it's worth, the yellow goes to pin #1 and the white goes to pin #2. If you unplug it and look at the inside of the connector it will sometimes have them labeled.
