I was driving this evening and out of the blue the car wouldn't pull anymore. I tried reverse. I crawled under the car to find oil leaking out of the torque converter inspection hole at the bottom of the bellhousing. I was 2 blocks from home so we pushed it.

I just repaired the engine after it jumped time and destroyed 2 valves.

Are blown front pump seals or damaged torque converters common?

I'll pull the drain plug and stem on the trans tomorrow. I think the trans basically dumped the fluid.

Can anyone who knows these trans give me some help?
