Is this a main seal leak or automatic trans input shaft seal leak?

I cant figure out if this is automatic trans fluid or engine oil. It doesnt smell like AISIN oil and its not reddish, but I dont think its engine oil because the engine is new and the oil is crystal clear.

The engine is new, as in less than 25 miles on it. The trans has 155k miles on it. I changed the input shaft seal in the trans before I installed the engine so that would be my first guess, but the fluid doesnt smell like AISIN trans fluid and it doesnt look reddish.

It drips from this hole under the flywheel. Any thoughts?

Looks like engine oil to me. And maybe a bit of coolant, as well.

Rear crank shaft seal I would think and engine oil. Bit odd that a new engine would be leaking there, should last tens of thousands of miles but these things can happen. Only one way to find out for sure :-( take it out again.

Thanks guys. The coolant stains are from coolant I spilled.

Engine has two year warranty so maybe I can get the dealer to change the seal. Fingers crossed.

Are you adding transmission fluid or engine oil on a routine basis?

No, not engine oil. The automatic transmission has no dipstick.

Anyway, I forgot that I had spilled trans fluid when I was filling it. I think, I hope, I pray that i it's just spilled & residual oil dripping down. So I used three cans of brake cleaner to clean the spilled oil. Then I put the car up in the air, in gear with the engine running and wheel spinning for half an hour and watched the axle seals and the gap between the engine and trans and no oil dripped.

l check it again after another few miles of driving.

Thx guys.
