Brake Light woes??? a v39 stalling?

Brake Light woes??? a v39 stalling?
After I took Ambrosias through the mountains a few weeks agao I noticed that the Brake light on the rev counter come on and has since been comming on intermitentily. Has this happen to anyone else?
Also, I've noticed my car tends to almost stall when goign form reverse to forward drive, I have the CVT and I was wondering if it had to do with the new v39 software.

Brake warning light
On my Chevy Tracker, when the brake pads wear, and therefore the fluid level in the brake master cylinder is low, the brake warning light comes on when I make left turns.
