A/C fuse blowing

Hello after numerous searches I have come to have to ask for help. I recently bought a 02 mini base model. It has been sitting for a year and has a few issues. The biggest one that is stumping me is the ac system. After vacuuming out a mouse nest in the cabin filter spot the AC isn't working right. The blower motor comes on all speeds. The ac light and recirc lights up. There is freon in the system. When you turn on the AC it blows the fuse in the engine compartment. The cooling fan is working when the AC is off and the engine gets up to temp. I have torn the dash mostly apart to check for broken/chewed wires and haven't seen any. Also in the engine compartment of haven't found any broken/chewed wires. I greatly appreciate any help in getting this done for the summer in Florida.

Also just found the power steering fan is unplugged. It doesn't seem like it worked anyway though.

Fixed it. Power wire going to ac clutch was rubbing against the pulley. Just for anyone's FYI.
