Compression Check

Does anyone have a "How To" on checking the compression of an N18 engine? With all the engine systems tied together, not sure how to proceed.

The way I do it is by removing all the spark plugs so the starter isnt pulling too much amperage. Then, remove the fuel pump fuse. after that, insert the gauge and start the car, let it crank few times until the gauge needle cannot go up anymore.

& put a brick on the gas pedal so that the throttle is wide open.

Look for all 4 readings to be within about 10% of each other.
