Any advice re: output shaft repair sleeves?
Any advice re: output shaft repair sleeves?
At 160K miles my axle cv boots were toast so I replaced both sides with CardOne reman axles from RockAuto. Soon thereafter the passenger side was leaking where the shaft enters the transmission. I then installed a new OE seal, which reduced the leak but some very slight leakage persists. Since I will soon be dropping the subframe to replace the rear main seal I thought I might install the "output shaft repair sleeve," National p/n 99146, also from RockAuto. Any experience or advice? TIA.
Hello,
Done the ones on mine in the past, dont know about that one. Used aftermarket ones and they were fine. Just watch on some of the other store catalogs, because I have seen they mixed up Gen 1 and Gen 2 MINI parts.
