I had replaced the Passenger side axle output shaft seal on my 2007 R56 auto transmission last year. Now I am noticing a small leak coming from the seal Even though the Haynes manual was pretty generic on how far to insert the new seal, I feel that I may have put it in too far? Or the O-ring behind the sea has gone bad? Does anyone know the actual depth to install this seal properly?
