Ran my 2010 R55 justa Clubbie first time in North GA and got this trifecta code. Seems like if one code is coolant too low and one is temp circuit bad, maybe it’s just the sensor?

P173b Knock Sensor? Is this an O2 sensor?

coolant was just flushed at mechanic, no fluid leak that I can see. Hoses seem to be pretty playable, previous owner said thermostat had been replaced.

Anything else maybe?

Always OEM sensor, even if there is a duralast one?

P173b is caused either by thermostat or the sensor. 50/50 chance its either one. Cheapest solution is buy a new sensor and should work. If not, get thermostat new housing.

many advice on sensor selection, can get a duralast at autozone pretty quick, looks like a few days for an OEM.

 

I'd recommend OEM or OE but only Bosch if choosing OE
