Tire Pressure indicator won't reset
Tire Pressure indicator won't reset
A couple months ago we had the dashboard indicator pop up showing the left front tire needed more pressure.
I pumped it up (it was only a few PSI low), and almost immediately afterward, the indicator came back on showing all four tires needed air.
I now have them all slightly overpressurized and the indicator won't go away. I've checked with two separate pressure gauges and they are in agreement.
Will the indicator lamp come on when tires are overpressurized or only when they are under? How do I get rid of that distracting warning lamp?
Thanks for any help you can offer.

You don't mention in your post whether you reset the tyre pressure indicator.
Edit: Does your car have the old (i.e. depending on the ABS sensors) or the new style (actual pressure sensors in wheels) TPMS?

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try to release some air and see if things change.
