Adaptive headlight sensor help!!

I purchased a 2010 mini cooper s i noticed the level sensor on the control arm is unplugged. The warning light keeps coming on alerting me there is a problem with the lights... in fact the wire harness is missing. I tried to trace it with no luck. It appears to be MIA. Does anyone no what the sensor is supposed to be plugged to. By that I mean the wire goes from the sensor to what? It may be just be plugged in the other end just need to find it. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance..

Pictures of the front leveling headlight sensor

If it at all possible could someone snap a picture of the front headlight sensor on their mini? I am trying to find the wire that plugs into mine. it might help if I know where the wire is coming from. not urgent but maybe next time someone has it up doing brakes or something. I searched online looking for some schematic with no luck. Thanks in advance.

Slightly aged thread, though I'll take some pictures of the arm. I'm attempting to confirm the adaptive functionality on a 2011 MCS (LCI) OEM equipped with Xenon black housing headlamp assemblies.

I recently replaced my HID bulbs and now it appears the center beam of the lights is significantly aimed toward the passenger side on both headlights.

I've seen it mentioned elsewhere that your car must be equipped with the automatic rain sensor below the rear view mirror and you must use the headlights in auto mode on the turn stalk.

I pulled my driver side headlight. My Xenon black housings do not have adaptive feature. Through some deductive investigation and locating what should be present what I thought was the arm for lateral movement is the actual manual adjustment arm with an adjustment screw hidden behind access cover. I'll post up some pics here soon to document. I have also identified what I believe the location of the additional adaptive modules mounting location to on the headlamp assembly.

There were a couple of not so good videos of BMW 3 series I located online that showed vaguely some reference to the connections and the locations to components within the headlamp assembly.

Below is a picture of the manual adjustment screws #1 for vertical #2 for horizontal, that on my assembly is hidden behind an access cover. The outside adjustment #2 pictured, counter clockwise moves the beam to the outside of centerline. This is true for driver or passenger housing. The inside adjustment #1 pictured clockwise adjusted the beam upward.
