Refilling at the Pump Engine Stalls
Refilling at the Pump Engine Stalls
What? 2007 MCS.
Recent repairs: Head gasket, low pressure fuel line, fuel tank breather valve, fuel filter, water pump, oil filter housing gasket, auxiliary water pump, main seal, timing chain, seals, new valve cover, PCV hose...
Just checking to see if anyone with similar model/engine has experienced the same thing? I thought for sure changing the fuel tank breather valve would resolve the problem but it hasn't. I can rev the engine up for about 30 seconds after a refueling and it'll stay running fine but if I only try to start the car after refueling it will start and then immediately die.

No one??? I guess it's not a common problem with Mini's...only one last thing I can think of and that's the charcoal canister...not sure I want to do that just yet as it's about $300 from what I've read.
Suggest you have someone with diagnostic scan tool check fuel pressure after starting. You did not say how many miles car has, but High-Pressure-Fuel-Pump(HPFP) has been known to have issues on these cars.
Good luck,
Good luck,
Yep, get a scan tool and scan it, we have them on sale right now. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d-q-and-a.html

Thank you @GsxR1000 & @ECSTuning
I'll double check the fuel pressure but don't think that's the problem...it only happens when I fill up..doesn't matter how low or how full the tank is prior to putting in fuel...I've got a scan tool and did not find any pressure readings that were off previously. I'll double check the manual to see if it lists the upper/lower limits and then check the pressure. It certainly won't help...oh and for miles...it's just over 78K.
