Intermittent turbo pressure after turbocharger jcw replacement
Intermittent turbo pressure after turbocharger jcw replacement
Hi guys, since I replaced the turbocharger of my mini cooper with a new jcw turbocharger I started having problems with boost. Practically when I accelerate everything I feel the boost go intermittently, in low gears you don't notice, at low speed the thrust is good while at high rpm it flattens out, with high gears it's more evident. But what is most disconcerting is that if I accelerate from fourth to fifth gear I can hear by ear that the pressure of the turbo goes up and down continuously, practically the boost is fluctuating (you can hear the turbo pressure going up and down, going up and down by continuous). I state that before changing the turbine my mini was going perfectly. The new turbo also has a new diverter valve that I have disassembled and inspected but it is visually perfect.
I have no error in the ecu and no yellow light.
I currently have a rpm power stage 3 mapping.
Some idea?
