I have a sort of grinding noise on the right front, near supercharger alternator. I replaced both idler pulleys today, they were tired but not the source of the winding grind. It is engine speed variable. 02 r53 17200 on the clock. I did supercharger oil service at 140000.

I haven't heard an alternator fail with a sound like this, but there is always a first time.

So do you all think I need to go auppercharger or alternator shopping?

With that kind of mileage, I'd replace both..
