Service light reset

https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/stock-problems-issues/135901-r56-service-brake-lights-etc-reset-procedure.html

Good day folks. I have followed the instructions on the sticky above and was successful in getting to the point where i can reset the rear brake service warning. But everytime i do it, the reset doesnt reset the negative number. I was able to reset the front brake warning, the oil change, etc....but the rear brake warning will NOT reset. Anything else i can try? Thanks!

You'll have to do one of two things.

1. Buy a new rear sensor and perform the reset procedure.
2. Cut the end of your existing sensor, strip the wire ends, attach them together and perform the reset procedure.

I personally did #2 because IMO, the sensor is a waste of money. I shrink wrapped the wire ends and zip tied it up under the car so it wouldn't get into trouble.
