Rebuilding my automatic transmission -- already have rebuild kit with gaskets/steels/frictions/etc and a new valve body.

I'm having trouble finding one internal "hard" part that needs replaced -- the B2 Piston Assembly -- Does any one have a automatic transmission that was having shift issues, etc -- i.e. a "bad" transmission for sale?

Does anyone know a transmission parts source for Aisin Transmissions -- PARTS not whole transmission?

Aisin shows that all Mini Cooper S 6-spd automatics up to 2012 have same transmission (may have different mount bracket, flexplate, etc -- but same transmission).

 

Hey this post was referred to me by another member since I was in the process of getting ready to rebuild my gf21 tranny as well. How'd it go? Did you find any large differences between the 09g and the gf21 or are they basically the same? I'm planning on ordering the master kit with bonded pistons from Ebay seller wolfsburgtuning for the gf21. Do you recommend any other kits? Any info/heads up would be greatly appreciated. Oh also what were your symptoms that led up to you deciding to do a rebuild? Thanks.
