2004 R53 Limp mode

recently my 2004 Mini Cooper S R53 has had a problem which is going into limp mode and the EML light coming on after I drive it for 8-10 miles without restarting the car. I ran the codes on the car and I got a new one (P1688) which I believe has to do with the MAP or TMAP sensor failure. I also have a code for a failed Knock sensor if that helps. the car has about 196000 miles and is in very good condition with many new replacement parts. I recently also put on a new post catalyst O2 sensor and after that is when it started.
