Limp Mode when hitting bumps? Electrical issue?

I have a 2005 S and while driving to work yeh other day my EML and Check Engine lights came on when I hit a bump and again further down the road when I hit a bump. It was a cool damp Maine morning. Problem only really occurs when I hit bumps or sometimes when I accelerate quickly. It always seems to reset itself so I don’t have any codes.
The clock always resets when the problem occurs like a better connection, but those are tight.
Any help or advice would be appreciated. Even which electrical connectors I may need to check.

Try checking and cleaning the battery terminals for rust and then tightened properly.

Might be worth checking the ground terminal to see if it's secure and in good condition.

Well, I didn’t get far before I found an issue. Started in the battery compartment and found that the BPS wire was cut, the cable from the battery to the fuse terminal was slightly cut and there was a lot of rust. The battery hold down was also close the the positive terminal. I ordered some new parts and hope the problem gets fixed.

Is there an issue with the BPS wire being cut?
