Inner CV boot leaking

Inner CV boot leaking
I was changing out my driver side LCA bushing and noticed CV grease all over the control arm and trans area. I removed the CV axle to look for any kind of tear but there was none. The only thing i can see is it came out of the boot clamp side (inner boot). The boot was replaced about 6 months ago and packed with new grease. So, should i just re-do the clamp or get a new boot?

Did the bolt slip off of the hub and that’s how the grease came out? If so you can put more grease in and try another clamp provided the joint is ok. I don’t see replacing the boot as long as it’s intact.

Both the Inner and outer boots are on with the both clamps tight. But the grease was all over the place. I did move the inner boot around once I took it out of the trans and I could hear air push from around the clamp area. That's why I am asking because it is blowing my mind that the clamps are tight and no cracks in the boot.
If you think there is still sufficient grease in it, by all means throw a new clamp on and done.
If it has thrown a LOT of grease might need to re-clamp, but also throw a new pack of grease in it.
