Code P02EF and P02F1
Hello, I have a 2013 MCS and have never had any problems until now. I had about 2 bars of gas, so i went to fill up. After I filled up, I had a check engine light. I drove 3 blocks home and the car died in the driveway, and it also gave me a DSC failure warning. I read the codes P02EF and P02F1 and it said the fuel injectors are bad in cylinder 2 and 4. What are the odds of 2 fuel injectors going wrong at the same time? What could have caused this? Bad gas? thank you for anyone who can help!

Turns out the DME is having trouble communicating with the car says the dealer. Not sure what's going to happen today, or what even caused this. Keeping my fingers crossed that I don't need to buy a new DME.
ECUs dont just die...the fact that they told you they cannot communicate the ECU is THE trouble code you need to consider.
you could try started fluid to diagnose, you could also check the fuse box for water damage, maybe.
get another shop to look at it. see if there is a warranty on the car that covers that.
Worst case you need a DME. the good news, you could buy a used one with matching part number and have it cloned (I do my own cloning, after i figured it out).
