2007 Mini Cooper S won’t start

hello! I recently bought my automatic mini about 5 months ago at 85,000 miles, it has been running perfectly until last night. I went to a relatives house for about 2-3 hours and when I went back to start it it wouldnt. it cranks but it doesn’t start, it sounds like the fuel pump. it turns on and the radio, windows and heater work so I know it’s not a battery problem. the weather has been colder so that might be a determining factor?? i’ve read a couple posts stating that there was a warranty on 07-09 mini coopers but I can’t find any valid information on their website. any help is greatly appreciated, this car was my first big purchase and i’m still long from paying it off and I have no other means of transportation.

thanks in advance!!

is it possible to read the codes? does the car have a sunroof, if so, is there any sign of water leak behind the passenger kick panel and carpet?

by codes i mean if you plug an OBD reader to read the car computer. It will show codes like P0300, P0301....etc

nothing came up on the reading and the check engine light went off, but the car is still doing the same thing, what could that possibly mean?

What reader did you use? Regular ones sometimes cannot read mini specific codes. When you initially open the door by remote, do you hear the fuel pump priming? If you spay quick start into the elbow going to the intake manifold, does it start?
where you located?
