New parts install question

So I’m doing a ton of work to the wife’s R57 before I fix my R53 and want some opinions. On installing new oil filter housing gaskets(and oil cooler gaskets), new valve cover gasket, vac pump, fuel, pump and thermostat housing with water pipe do you oil the seals or put on and install dry? I’ve heard silicone or dielectric grease. Not sure what’s the norm or recommended. They’re all rubber like material. Thx for advice.

Dave

A little bit of sylglide will help the gaskets seat better and hold them in place until you can get the bolts in.
