No Top End Power?

not sure if it’s normal on these cars but I feel like I lose quite a bit of power top end of each gear. I want to say anything over 4500ish. Car seems to be faster if I shift at 4000 or less. Is my turbo crapping out? Or wastegate?

Model year? Mods? Last walnut blast? Age of plugs and HPFP? Chain replaced? Plugged cat? There's a whole world of things that can be your problem. Without knowing anything about your car, we can only make random guesses.

09, MCS, Last walnut blast is unknown, spark plugs were done 4k miles ago, HPFP new, chain replaced, clutch replaced, no cat. Mods: Intake, catless downpipe to straight pipe exhaust, intercooler.

might need a new recirculating valve (and no not an aftermarket one) but the newer one STOCK one (there's thread on here about the new valve by tigger2011) OR you may need new fuel injectors.
I had the same problem before and have the same mods as you, and both were my fix! Now my JCW pulls like a champ!

I’ll try a new recirculating valve before injectors. Thanks!

Read this info in the link as this is what I was talking about previously. I was going to drop $250 on a forge recirculating valve, but wound up getting this upgraded stock valve and put an alta spring in (got both for $72).
