Serious lighting issue

I have a 2010 Mayfair and the other day my front left headlight (high and low beam) turn signal and DRL, my rear left lower brake light, and my rear right turn signal went out, also my rally lights are inop. All over night. I haven’t done any testing yet because I’m afraid it’s a harness and that would not be good. Any advice would be welcome.

any burnt smell anywhere, that zigzag of light failure almost sounds like something melted a lump of wires together.
with the left be the dominant failure and the rear right brake also, it sounds like the wires, where they join up got pinched or melted or something? - total shot in the dark here.

I think that’s probably what happened. Several weeks ago I noticed an electrical burning smell and saw an abnormal amount of smoke but I brushed it off as vapor because it was cold and raining out...however I do notice the smell occasionally when my fog lights are on. I have an “interlock device” installed in it and I know it took the guys who installed it several attempts to get it right so it wouldn’t surprise me if this issue is a splice gone wrong. The interlock thinks the car is off whenever I turn, slow down rapidly, or come to a complete stop...and it seems to be getting worse as time goes on.

Resolution

So I had a friend (who is an ex BMW/MINI mechanic) scan my car for me and he determined the issues were due to a failed footwell module. Lucky for me I had the ability to scan my car before I took it to the mini dealer so I knew better than to spend $900 on an unnecessary new headlight assembly (I have the self leveling bi-xenon lights)...but $1,560 and 2 weeks later I got my car back and the following photos are what my old footwell module looked like.

The outside pins show some corrosion...

But after I opened it up it’s no wonder my lights failed.
