So I put my car in reverse to back up, put it in drive, felt like I was putting the car in park in between, and engine ran bogged down, not picking up speed. I looked at the screen on the car, and it says P for park no matter what gear I switch too, even manual. I have the automatic.

I think I located the tcm, near the battery, and air filter. Anyway, I see a 3 pin connector not plugged into anything, and can't find a place to plug it in. I noticed this 1-2 weeks ago when I replaced the thermostat, but car ran fine so I didn't worry about the 2 pin connector.

I don't have that kind of money to shell out at the dealership. Probably cost me $1500 to replace that $1,000 part.
