R56 N12 (non-turbo) Timing Chain replaced P0014 & P0015 codes

Hey Guys, I'm new to this forum.

I've got a 2009 Mini R56 with the N12 engine. (non-turbo). Very well maintained has 90k on the clock.
Timing jumped due to a failed tensioner.
Put a new chain/guides in with a new crank gear. Also changed the fuel filter. New NGK Platinum spark plugs.
Cleared the codes.
So after getting it all reassembled it started right up. Then when I restarted it, the engine light came back on. Codes: P0014, P0015. If I clear the codes and leave it running they never come back. But once I restart the car the codes come back. When the engine is warm it sounds perfectly quiet. I have done two cold starts on it and it does not sound well when doing so. Its not a tapping or pounding sound, but it does seem to have some noise coming from the top end where the cams are. It lasts maybe 30 seconds to a minute and then quiets down.
I made sure to pretension the timing chain as stated online. Put the tensioner in and then tighten down the two cam sprockets.
I have swapped the cam position sensors and no change in codes.
I have swapped the VANOS solenoids and no change in codes.
I have also verified that the engine is still in time. Re-locked the crank and was able to reinstall the CAM hold down tool.

Car runs and drives great; other than the noise at startup, and the fact that it is giving me the codes. It would be awesome if anyone has some feedback on this.
Thank You!

The car needed to go to the dealer to have the learned parameters cleared on their computer. This is not accomplished by unhooking the battery.

The noise was the friction wheel. I disengaged it, noticed the motor was then quiet. Funny thing was I re-engaged it, and it has been quiet since. lol.

So glad you got it fixed, I guess I will have to drive those 200 miles to the dealer, LOL.
I do have a high end Matco scantool with teaching capabilities, I have done the relearn a couple of times and it comes back with the value for the exhaust cam, higher, the preset value is supposed to be between 34 and 65 degrees, and after the Vanos relearn it says 73. I have checked the timing several time and still check engine light.

Ya, the car I was working on was throwing a code for I believe it was the exhaust side too. Ran fine, but always had the code.
The term I was looking for earlier was "adaptations". These are not cleared by unhooking the battery or a simple scan tool. The car had to go to the dealer for a full reset.
I too rechecked the timing like 3-4 times.
