How to fix a window that stopped working

My passenger stops working at lease once a week.. and the problem is getting more frequent. I temporary solve this issue by pressing up on the switch and banging on the door panel... a trick I learned on youtube. .. It's been a while and its time to fix it.
With these symptoms do I need a new regulator and motor? or just a motor? on WMW these parts are expensive and I don't want to buy anything I don't need.. Parts are cheaper on partsgeek.com but I'm not sure about the quality..
anyone have any luck with aftermarket window regulators/motors?

Search YouTube, there is a video that explains how to clean the motor barrel with some 800 grit sand paper and it will work again like new.
