Weird Occurence with Breaks?!

Hello everyone,

I newly signed up here My wife and I own a 2012 Mini Cooper in ice blue. We didn't drive her for the past month and she is parked outside. My wife drove to work yesterday and pointed out something weird happening with the breaks. I drove home and experienced the same thing.
This issue was not present a month ago and has been serviced regularly. Last one was in March with the breaks in good condition.

Now this is what is going on...When breaking it seems that the front right is not smooth and causing vibration. It seems like in waves (that is the best I could describe it) and kind of a loud deeper sound. I tried burning off some of the rust that was on the break disk, and it seemed the issue was getting less the more we drove.

I just wanted to see if anyone had experienced this in the past or has any idea what it could be?

I did not use the search function, so please excuse me if a thread already exists about this issue, I just couldn't come up with a good enough description to search for :/

Thank you guys.

Search for "Brake Issues", although if it was my car I'd find a friendly tire/brake shop that will inspect for free. I can drive over to a place like Les Schwab Tires and they will gladly look and hand me an estimate for whatever they think it needs. Doesn't mean you have to buy what they sell you.

How many miles on the car? Original brakes/rotors? Last time you had the fluid flushed? . . . etc.

Could be a warped rotor.

Going to move you to the Stock Problems/Issues section.
