Mini Cooper 2010

My Mini doesn't want to start.
1.keyfob is inserted but I get no lights or power, so I thought it was the battery.
2.battery is brand new, bought it this year. I've been to AutoZone, O'Rilly's, Pep Boys and Interstate Batteries and all of them said the battery is working great.
I'm thinking it might be something electrical
Does anybody know what could be wrong?

welcome aboard...

Can you use a test light to see if power is actually getting to the fuse box under the hood and the other fuse box behind the passenger kick panel?

where're you located?

let me try that out , and I’m located in the US. I tried turning it on today and it started and ran fine. But sometimes it just randomly doesn’t want to start

oh...if that is the case, I have a feeling it the fuse box behind the pas. kick panel...these symptoms resemble few of the flooded minis I got.

fuses might be fine, but if the communication bus is faulty, then it will miss.

Hook jumpering cables. The battery might be dead despite being new!

This an indication the fuse box behind passenger kick panel is faulty.

The circuit board would be corroded and damaged. You need to find a fuse box matching the part number or at least from the same model.
Use realoem.com to locate interchangeable part numbers.
